We need something like the ADA, but for families with young kids.

My daughter is an infant so we’re some years off from this, but I was reading recently that there are simply too many school-parent communication channels? Like, teacher email, classroom portal, parents’ WhatsApp, spin off WhatsApp, paper forms, maybe more? There should be way fewer communication channels so that you don’t need to expend cognitive energy trying to remember where you say what piece of info.

Yep I’ve heard the same! Well meaning but when you add it all up…it’s a lot

There’s a mom-founded tech company near me called Recess that I think eventually wants to be that common camp app!

Yes the common camp app!! They're also a burden on the camp provider. I worked for a summer camp years ago. Keeping track of the paperwork, remembering what was important to collect and to check? Following up with campers' families about missing items. All of that sucked! If you could solve camps' pain points (which you would!) *in addition to families pain points* it seems like it begins to become a compelling business idea!

Also akin to: mindbody for fitness studios across the country.

Such a smart idea, Emma!! I hadn't thought about the camps' perspective in all of this, but it sounds like a pain for them too
